ONE LAST DAY TO SURVIVE THE WEEKEND. LET'S WIN SOME BEST BETS
UConn @ Florida(-9.5)
DK -105
FD -110
This line should be in the teens minimum. UConn can't defend and Florida scores in every way imaginable. Gators all day.
Baylor @ Duke(-12.5)
DK -105
FD -120
Duke's going to win by 30. Baylor tried to lose to Mississippi State on Friday and they won't survive dry spells against a team that's capable of going on massive runs. Blue Devils all day.
Illinois @ Kentucky(ML)
DK +110
FD +106
I don't know why Illinois is favored. Kentucky can't defend but their offense is incredibly consistent. I don't think that it makes sense that a team that is as Jekyll and Hyde as Illinois is should be favored against anybody that has double digit quad 1 wins, let alone a Team like Kentucky that racked up 15.
Saint Mary's(ML) @ Alabama
DK +188
FD +195
Alabama's pace and rigidity betrays them in March. In no world should a 15 seed ever keep pace with a 2 seed the way Robert Morris kept up with the tide. Alabama eventually pulled away but Robert Morris had a 2nd half lead. That won't play against Saint Mary's who are veteran and very solid the whole way through. Give me the Gaels.
Colorado State @ Maryland(-7.5)
DK -112
FD -105
Colorado State has to find a way to outlast the Crab 5. I don't think they have the size to try and threaten Derik Queen with foul trouble. Nique Clifford is excellent but I don't think they can keep up with Maryland's scoring.
Ole Miss(ML) @ Iowa State
DK +190
FD +188
Okay. Hand up. This pick was made when Tamin Lipsey's health was in question. Lipsey obviously played 24 minutes in an incredibly easy game. I'm already counting this as a loss since Lipsey is healthy. Hand up, my bad.
New Mexico @ Michigan State(-7.5)
DK -108
FD -110
I don't know if New Mexico can truly make Michigan State uncomfortable. The Spartans will defend their butts off and their guards will attack the rack relentlessly. Give me the Spartans.
Oregon(ML) @ Arizona
DK +145
FD +140
Everything I wrote about Oregon being awesome applies to this game. Typically 5-12's aren't bloodbaths and that's exactly what we got. Arizona took care of business and ran it up on an Akron team that plays as up and down as they do. I love the Ducks tonight because Caleb Love is very inconsistent and Nate Bittle and TJ Bamba play an awesome two man game. I also think they have the coaching advantage when it comes to Dana Altman vs Tommy Lloyd.
