I think the Royals are going to keep beating up teams in Kauffman. They don't let up and their bullpen is great at closing the door on teams. The Phillies are spiraling and there's no clear way out of it at this point.

The Mets are suffering from a case of the too little too lates. They had a phenomenal run earlier in the summer but they currently have tapered off and are having issues putting together complete games. Meanwhile the Padres haven't dropped a series since the All-Star break and there's no reason to think that their pitching can't twirl another gem while the bats do enough to get the cover.
