The Royals are monsters at home the 40-26 record in their friendly confines speaks for itself. The Phillies meanwhile have been playing poor baseball since July. They're 19-24 in that time frame, and in August they've only hit 18 home runs in comparison to the 27 minimum they've hit in very other full month of the season. The Phillies are also 32-39 on the road, slashing only .248/.312/.397 away from the bank, and without one of Wheeler or Nola on the mound, there's no telling on whether or not their opener can hold a team that slashes .271/.333/.444 at home. The Royals have been a great best bet in recent months, so I'll be betting them again.
