St. Louis Cardinals @ Pittsburgh Pirates(-1.5)

MLB Best Bet Season Record: FADE ME (78-99)

This Paul Skenes guy is pretty good. In 11 starts he's tossed 66.1 innings to the tune of a 1.90 ERA, 2.56 FIP, 92.3% LOB rate, 0.92 WHIP, 34.9% K Rate, and 5.1% BB rate. Under the hood is awesome too.
The Cardinals are middle of the back when it comes to fWAR, but that has more to do with some nice glovework than team offense. Masyn WInn is awesome with the glove, but he's only slashing .284/.332/.411. Nolan Arenado and Michael Siani are in similar boats. Such a puttering offense is primed to get carved up by Paul Skenes and all the Pirates have to do is score a couple of runs off of Lance Lynn, making it a best bet.
