It is no secret I am a 49ers enjoyer. I love Trent Williams, I love George Kittle, I love Deebo, and I love Brandon Aiyuk. I also love Kyle Juszczyk, and Fred Warner, and Dre Greenlaw, and Nick Bosa, and Javon Hargrave, and Arik Armstead, and Talanoa Hufanga. I love watching them because they play fast, violent, and make you hit them back. It's not just one player or a even a position group, it's the whole team.
With all that being said, even without big Trent and Deebo, they should be able to feed Aiyuk, who has been simply outstanding in 2023. Through 6 games he's got 25 receptions for 454 yards and 2 touchdowns. The raw numbers are awesome and I love the 18.2 yards per reception, along with racking up 103 yards after the catch and a Yards per Route Run of 3.85, good for 3rd in the NFL. What all that means is that he's incredibly efficient.
Without Deebo, I expect Aiyuk too continue to get the lion's share of targets, and we won't see a terrible Brock Purdy like we saw in Cleveland. In the dome in Minnesota, we should see a clean game against an average defense that loves to blitz, and Aiyuk should be able to eat for this Best Bet.
